Why We RIDE
Bike the Coast California rides are blessed to be a part of amazing communities that we call home. Our team and riders strive to share the joy of riding with our host communities by working with hometown restaurants for on-course and post-ride nourishment and local breweries to pour pints at our Finish Festival Beer Garden. Most of all, we are proud to work with multiple charitable organizations across our rides, including the MS Society in Oceanside and the Ventura Lion’s Club. Before, during and after their ride, all riders can support our charity partners. Pre-ride, riders can make a donation during registration. After you finish, a portion of every beer purchased and enjoyed by our riders at the Finish Festival will be donated to our charity partners.

NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY
The National MS Society, founded in 1946, is the global leader of a growing movement dedicated to creating a world free of MS. The Society funds cutting-edge research for a cure, drives change through advocacy and provides programs and services to help people affected by MS live their best lives.
Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. Currently there is no cure. Symptoms vary from person to person and may include disabling fatigue, mobility challenges, cognitive changes, and vision issues. An estimated 1 million people live with MS in the United States. Early diagnosis and treatment are critical to minimize disability. Significant progress is being made to achieve a world free of MS.
VENTURA DOWNTOWN LIONS CLUB
The Ventura Downtown Lions are a long time pillar of the Ventura community providing reading glasses and eye health to local residents.
