RULES OF THE ROAD

Bike the Coast rides are all Rules of the Road rides, and all cyclists are expected and required to follow California State traffic laws while riding and using city streets.   All stop signs, traffic lights, and directional signs must be followed to ensure a safe and fun ride.  All cyclists are responsible for knowing and following state laws.   All cyclists must further understand that, should they break the law, law enforcement personnel are likely to issue them a ticket for breaking these laws, and that this may jeopardize the future of the rides.

Let's all have a safe ride, enjoy the company of our friends, make new friends on the ride, and support those cities that support our rides.  Please be aware of the laws, be knowledgeable about the laws, and follow the Rules of the Road.
